Pellow retains seat on Marquette County Board

MARQUETTE - Marquette County Board Chairwoman Deborah Pellow has defeated Republican challenger Robert Struck for a District 5 seat.

Pellow, a Tilden Township Democrat, got 2,575 votes (52.16 percent) to Struck's 2,336 votes (47.32 percent).

Struck is a former county commissioner. The term of office is two years.

District 5 covers Forsyth, Skandia, Turin, Ewing, Wells, West Branch, Richmond and Tilden townships.

Four additional races for the county board are contested in today's election.
