David L. Pansier

MARQUETTE, Mich. - David L. Pansier, 69, of Marquette, died Saturday, November 3, 2012 from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

Dave was born on March 11, 1943 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to the late Hugo Joseph and Eunice Marie Pansier. He married the former Gloria J. Nowaczyk on April 12, 1980 in Marquette.

Dave was retired from Pellow Roofing Company after many years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and really enjoyed going to camp.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria of Marquette; five children, David S. (Carol) Pansier of Green Bay, WI, Laura Lee (Bill) Maccaux of Green Bay, Mickey (Oliver Feltner) Wood of Marquette, Patti (Michael) Rich of Negaunee and David J. Block of Green Bay; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol (Brad) Heyrman and a brother, Jerry (Ann) Pansier, both of Green Bay; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home on Thursday from 12 to 2 p.m. where a memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Benedetto J. Paris officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UPAWS, 84 Snowfield Drive, Negaunee, MI 49866 in Mr. Pansier's memory.
