ISHPEMING - Dr. Therese Fahner has joined Northern Veterinary Associates in Ishpeming has an associate veterinarian.
Fahner is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she focused on companion animal medicine and surgery. During her time at MSU, she assisted with research on cancer treatments of pet animals. As a coordinator for the MSU Pet Loss Support Hotline, Fahner was responsible for training others in grief counseling and related aspects of the human-animal bond. For the past 12 years, she has been a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
