NEGAUNEE - The Marquette County Sheriff's Office is investigating a property damage hit-and-run motor vehicle crash, which occurred Friday night along Marquette County Road 480.

The incident was reported at 11:25 p.m. in the city of Negaunee.

Police said the crash occurred on the railroad bridge overpass along County Road 480. The party reporting the incident said he was driving his truck east when he was rear ended by another vehicle and pushed across the westbound lane into the guardrail.

The driver said the second vehicle -which was described as possibly being a dark blue or black Honda CRV 4-door- did not stop and continued east. Police said the car should have front end damage.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Deputy Ulvila at the sheriff's department at 225-8435.
