MARQUETTE, Mich. - Girlene A. Beers, 96, of Marquette, entered eternal life Friday morning, November 2, 2012, at her home in the loving care of her family and the caregivers of Lake Superior Hospice.
Girlene was born February 20, 1916, in Auburn, Indiana, to Curtis J. and Elsie M. (Shull) Warstler. Girlene is survived by her husband of 71 years, William L. Beers, and her daughter, Judy (Tom) Browne, of Marquette; two grandchildren, Bill (Lori) Browne of Leonard, Michigan and their children, Bradley and Austin; Dan (Lisa) Browne of Dafter, Michigan and their children, Ian, Tyler and Colton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Honoring Girlene's wishes, private family services will be held.
