MARQUETTE - Twenty-nine Northern Michigan University seniors have been selected for membership in the Telion Chapter of Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society.
Included were: Lisa Singer and Sarah Nadeau of Marquette, Tyler Perala of Skandia, Jalina Ogren of Ishpeming, Brandon Frazho of Gladstone and Scott Smith of Gladwin.
Mortar Board is a national honor society that recognizes college seniors for superior achievement in scholarship, leadership and service. Since Mortar Board's founding in 1918, nearly a quarter of a million members have been initiated at 229 chartered campuses across the nation.
