Cliff Trudell, left, of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1541, presents a $1,468.38 check to Jim Bertucci, chairman of the Lake Bancroft Committee. The money was raised at a recent benefit dinner show at St. John's K.D. Hall. "Murder at the KD Hall" was performed by Peninsula Arts Appreciation Council theater members, and the Knights prepared the meal. Funds will be used for the ongoing Lake Bancroft cleanup campaign.
