BIG RAPIDS - Goals by Tevun Sellers and Kim Rietveld weren't enough as the Northern Michigan University women's soccer team fell to host Ferris State on Friday, 5-2.

Amelia Johnson drew an assist on Sellers' marker, but coach Matt Granstrand's Wildcats still fell to 3-11 overall and 2-8 in GLIAC play.

Leanne Boehm and Riley Wood each notched two goals and an assist for FSU (6-5-3, 5-3-2).

NMU goalkeeper Shelby Conard made eight saves, while FSU netminder Maddie Haustein came up with five stops.
