Marjorie Ann (Beauchamp) Knudsen

ISHPEMING, MI. - Marjorie Ann (Beauchamp) Knudsen born on 5-07-1931 in Ishpeming, Michigan passed away Tuesday Oct. 9, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth, MN. surrounded by family.

She graduated from Ishpeming High School and was employed by Michigan Bell telephone as a switchboard operator before retiring to become a full-time mom, a job she thoroughly enjoyed and excelled at. She also spent many hours volunteering at the schools and church and anywhere she could lend a hand.

She was full of life and loved with all her heart and enjoyed playing cards, going to the lake and an occasional side trip to the casino to play keno.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years William, parents John and Sarah (McKinnon) Beauchamp, 1 brother Donald Beauchamp, 3 nephews and 3 brother-in-laws and 1 sister-in-law.

She is survived by her loving daughter Kelly Ann (Knudsen) and husband Daniel Weinberger, 2 sons David Lee (Jayn) Knudsen and Gregory Scott Knudsen, a sister Mary Armbrust, several nieces and nephews and 2 sisters-in-law.

In 2006 Bill and Marge were blessed with the birth of their only grandchild, Kendra Lee Knudsen, the light of their lives.

At her request there will be no visitation at this time. A private service along with interment next to her "Billy" at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will be held at a future date.
