Community foundation honors individuals, Big Brother Big Sisters

Stu Bradley, left, presents the Marquette County Community Foundation's Individual Catalyst Award to Fred Anderson. Anderson was recognized for his volunteer service in Marquette County, including as a Boy Scout leader, his Kiwanis Club, his church and for being instrumental in the luge run and its program in western Marquette County. Bradley presents Jayne Letts of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marquette County with a $1,000 grant from the foundation. The funds will be used to provide a variety of training opportunities for volunteer mentors. Bradley presents Katie Buhrmann with the foundation's President's Volunteer Service Award. The award recognizes individuals for achieving excellence in service and civic participation.
