MARQUETTE - The Northern Michigan University soccer team returns home at 3-8 overall and 2-5 in the GLIAC to host Ohio Dominican at 4 p.m. on Friday and Ashland University at noon on Sunday at the NMU Soccer Field.
The Wildcats are coming off a pair of road losses last week at Northwood and Saginaw Valley State. Freshman Gabriella Garza netted her second goal of the season, but it was the lone score for the 'Cats in both games.
ODU is 7-4-2 overall on the year and 3-3-2 in GLIAC play following wins over Walsh and Malone last weekend. ODU's Lauren Pratt is the reigning GLIAC Player of the Week after scoring three goals in three games for the Panthers. She has a team-high six goals this season.
Ashland, like Northern, is struggling at 4-9 overall and 3-5 in the GLIAC, though the Eagles have won back-to-back games coming into the weekend.
Allison Richards leads the Eagles scoring attach with four goals.
