EBEN - Superior Central posted a four-set 19-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-19 Central Upper Peninsula Conference victory over Bark River-Harris at the Cougars gym on Monday evening.

Junior Brooke Pasanen led SC offensively with seven kills, four digs and a block. Senior teammate Kelsey Coleman added six kills, seven digs, two blocks and an assist.

"Our passing was much improved but is still a point of focus," Cougars coach Kris Bray said. "Our defense was much improved, too. We had a few serving errors that need to be cleaned up."

SC junior Mikayla Barrows also had three kills, five service aces, 12 digs and a block, senior Lindsey Richmond 20 assists, 11 digs and three aces, and freshman Ally Bray five aces and three digs while serving a team-high 14 points.

The Cougars get right back into action at 5 p.m. today at a three-team CUP meet at Rapid River that also includes Carney-Nadeau.
