Electricians lose on road

MARQUETTE - The Marquette Electricians Midget AAA hockey team lost to host Shattuck St. Mary's 3-1 Saturday in Faribault Minn.

Coach Mark Nebel's Marquette icers spotted Shattuck a 2-0 lead in the first period and trailed 3-0 after two.

Hayden Rajala scored for the Electricians in the third stanza, assisted by Ethan St. Germain.

Adam Ranck and Bryce Leaf split the goaltending duties for Marquette.

Ranck made 10 saves in a little more than a period before being replaced by Leaf, who finished with 27 stops.

The Electricians were outshot 40-21.
