Jonelle Collins presents a check for $400 to Jim Thomas, left, representing the Negaunee Lions Club and Donna Gravedoni Bjork, right, secretary of the Negaunee Historical Society, while Collins' sons Kurt and Paul look on. The two organizations are cooperating with the city of Negaunee in the restoration of the Collins Log Cabin in Negaunee's Jackson Mine Park. The donation to the project comes from Jonelle and her six children in memory of her husband and their father, George Collins. George Collins was a great-grandson of Samuel and Hannah Collins, who once owned the cabin and possibly lived in it when they settled in Negaunee in 1867.
