MARQUETTE, Mich. - Sadly, Bill's short life ended on September 8, 2012, at the age of 59, after a short courageous battle with cancer. He quietly slipped away at his home in Pueblo, Colorado, surrounded by his children who will hold him forever in their hearts.

Bill was raised in Marquette and was in the last sophomore class of Bishop Baraga High School. He graduated from MSHS in 1971.

He spent most of his adult years living in Littleton, Colorado, raising his 3 children, Paul of Pueblo, Colorado, Allison of New York City, New York and Samuel of Los Angeles, California. Bill's children were the loves of his life and they had many incredible adventures together.

He was preceded in his death by his parents, Ella and Paul Pelissier. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Mary, Jane and Susan.

Bill will be remembered for his giant smile, infectious laughter, gentle manner, incredible devotion to his children and his love of "road trips."

There will be an open house celebration of Bill's life, for family and friends, hosted by Allison Pelissier, Paul Pelissier, Gary Haglund and Gary Enright, Saturday Sept. 29, 2012, at the Big Boy where, in his younger years, it was Bill's favorite place to meet his friends for coffee.
