To the Journal editor:
A very special thank you to "Queen Mother" Barb White and all of the Red Hat Rosette committees from Marquette for hosting the 9th annual Upper Peninsula Convention on Sept. 13-14. It was quite a sight to see 190 Red Hatters having way too much fun and the laughter was infectious. Mardi Gras was the theme and everything from the beads, music, decorations, food, entertainment and prizes will be talked about until the next gathering.
