MARQUETTE - Adult hockey competition in Marquette has begun for the season.
In the 18 and Older League on Sept. 23, Aubree's Pizza defeated Gina Feltner Bouws-RE/MAX First Realty 7-4; 3rd Base Bar-Joe's Auto played Big boy to a 6-6 tie; and B &G Plumbing/Mommaertz-Mahaney Financial shaded Cal's Party Store, 4-3.
In 30 and Older play, Houle and Associates blanked Budweiser, 6-0; and Shunk Furniture dropped Cal's Party Store, 5-2.
In Sept. 19 action in the 18 and Older League,Big Boy stopped Aubree's, 5-3; B & G Plumbing/Mommaerts-Mahaney Financial edged Gina Feltner Bouws-RE/MAX First Realty, 5-4; and Cal's Party Store dropped 3rd Base Bar/Joe's Auto, 6-3.
In 30 and Older play on Sept. 16, Cal's Party Store and Budweiser tied, 6-6; and Houle & Associates shaded Shunk Furniture, 6-5.
