MARQUETTE - Marquette County Prosecutor Matt Wiese was recently elected to the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan Board of Directors. He will serve a one-year term through August 2013.
The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan was established in 1929. It is a voluntary association of all 83 of the state's prosecuting attorneys, the attorney general, and the U.S. attorneys serving in Michigan.
Its primary purposes are to promote fair, swift and equal justice in enforcing the state's criminal laws, and the continuing education of Prosecuting Attorneys and other law enforcement officials.
