MARQUETTE - Police have identified the body found Friday in an abandoned building on Washington Street to be that of Shawn Michael Dollar, 34, who was reported missing Thursday.
The identification was released following an autopsy Saturday morning.
The Marquette City Police Department has not released a cause of death and did not say whether the death is being viewed as suspicious in nature.

Dollar's body was found at 231 W. Washington St. Friday afternoon while a search was being conducted in the area.
Last seen during the evening hours of Sept. 8 while socializing in downtown Marquette, Dollar was reported missing on Thursday.
On Friday, Dollar's friends and family met at the Marquette Commons Friday afternoon to organize a search for him, distributing flyers with his photo on them.
That hope soon turned to fear as a distraught group gathered outside the rear entrance of the abandoned building as news arrived that a body had been located inside, with family members approaching the police tape and begging the responding officers for news.
Officers from the Michigan State Police Crime Lab examined the scene for several hours, taking photos and evidence, before Dollar's body was removed to an ambulance Friday evening.
Saturday, a memorial of flowers and candles was placed outside the sealed building entrance.
