MARQUETTE - A hike of the Sturgeon River Gorge and Falls will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 25. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. in the Target store parking lot in Marquette and should bring hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes, snacks and water.
The hike is free to Northern Center for Lifelong Learning members, $5 for others. The hike will be led by Jan Lindstrom, NCLL member and hiker of the North Country Trails. For more information, call 225-1295. Registration deadline is Sept. 18; call 227-2979.
