NORWAY - Errors proved costly as a sloppy night for the Emeralds on the court Thursday led to an easy 26-16, 25-9, 25-19 victory for the Knights.
"We just didn't play well tonight and Norway definitely brought their game," said Emeralds coach Amy Nixon. "We didn't communicate. We didn't play our game. It was disappointing. We had communication and passing errors."
The Emeralds were led defensively by Maryse Hinkson, who compiled 10 digs as well as nine assists. Monica Giles recorded three kills, three blocks and two aces.
