ESCANABA - Eli Pickard scored Marquette's lone goal as the Superiorland Soccer Association's U-13/U-14 Red Bulls lost 2-1 at the Escanaba Bayside Sharpshins on Saturday.
Caleb Byma assisted on Pickard's second-half goal as teammate Riley Lindberg made four saves in the first half and Kyle Michelson 10 after intermission.
Colton Yesney earned offensive player of the game honors for the Red Bulls, Michelson defensive laurels and Pickard most outstanding player honors.
