To the Journal editor:
Sands Speedway food drive has received 1,616 pounds of food from our food drive. All food was divided between St. Vinnie's and the Salvation Army. Many businesses, individuals, fans and drivers made this possible.
Joe at Midway Rentals was generous and donated us an enclosed trailer to transport the food. Many thanks to the media coverage - The Mining Journal, TV6 and all of the radio stations - for their help. Thank you to everyone who made this an annual success
