Hockey skills program planned

MARQUETTE - New player registrations will be accepted for the USA Hockey Skills Development Program being offered by the Marquette Junior Hockey Corp. from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Lakeview Arena.

Skills development is a "learn-to-skate" program targeted for those 4-6 years of age, but no one is turned away.

The program is held at 6 p.m. Wednesdays and 11:30 a.m. Saturdays from the first Wednesday in October through the last Wednesday in February. Each session last for 50 minutes.

The cost is $95. The program is subsidized by Dr. Randy Folker and the Marquette Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic.
