GWINN - Lightning halted Friday night's Mid-Peninsula Conference football game between the Gwinn Modeltowners and Manistique Emeralds at Gwinn High School.
The game will resume at noon today in Gwinn.
The Emeralds led 20-0 with 2:01 remaining in the first half before the game was stopped.

NIAGARA, Wis. - Patriots' senior fullback Zach Rankinen ran for 228 yards on 17 carries while scoring touchdowns of 1, 60, 17 and 30 yards.
Senior running back Francois Montbrun rushed for a 4-yard TD and also returned a kickoff 85 yards for another score.
As a team, the Patriots gained 366 yards rushing on 39 carries.
"It's nice to have 228 yards from the fullback position," WHS head coach Jon Beckman said. "Hats off to the offensive linemen, Zach and Francois."
Northern Elite was limited to 73 rushing yards on 27 carries and only 40 yards through the air.
Westwood quarterback Nathan Clisch threw for 31 yards and also had the lone interception in the game.
"Defense was key," Beckman said. "They played exceptionally well against a spread attack that likes to spread you out and throw the ball."
North Dickinson 48,
MUNISING - The Mustangs gave up 34 unanswered points before scoring with 5:52 remaining in the first half, then watched North Dickinson cash in on a pair of big rushing plays of 32 and 70 yards in the second half.
Ryan Walther caught a 53-yard pass from Austin Kelto in the second quarter for the Mustangs only score.
Kelto finished 5 of 8 passing for 76 yards with no interceptions.
Junior Cody Haynes led Munising in rushing with four carries for 20 yards, but the team's net total for the night was only three yards on 19 carries. Munising only made two first downs.
Dominic Christian scored three touchdowns for North Dickinson on runs of 9, 5 and 16 yards, all in the first half.
