Alternative high school offered

ISHPEMING - Adult Services, an alternative high school completion program offered by Ishpeming-Negaunee-NICE Community Education Division, offers four days a week of classes for students ages 13 to 19 in the Marquette County area. The program runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays at St. John School, 325 S. Pine St. in Ishpeming.

Students must earn 20 credit hours to receive their diplomas. The program features state certified teachers offering classes in math, English, physical education, science, social studies and computer technology. For more information or to register, call 475-4173.
