GRAND MARAIS, Mich. - Gerald B. "Jerry" Purple, age 70, of Lowder Rd. in Grand Marais, died unexpectedly at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital on Thursday, September 6, 2012. Visitation will be at the First Lutheran Church in Grand Marais on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Pastor Jon Babbitt will conduct Jerry's memorial service at noon.
