MARQUETTE - The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a course called "What is the Senior Center?" at 11 a.m. on Sept. 18 at the Marquette Senior Center, 300 W. Spring St. in Marquette.
Participants will tour the center to see what services are being offered to seniors, including social interaction, learning and assistance. The tour will be led by Karl Zueger, Marquette's community development director, and Jane Palmer, senior center director.
The class is free for NCLL members and $5 for others. Registration deadline is Sept. 10. For information or to register, call 227-2979.
