Golfers post aces at Gentz's Homestead

MARQUETTE - A pair of golfers enjoyed recent outings at Gentz's Homestead Golf Course in Marquette.

Wednesday, Pat Sheldon of Marquette recorded her first-ever hole-in one. She used a 14-degree driver on the par-3, 100-yard second hole. Don Sheldon witnessed the shot. Sunday, Nate Noble of Marquette posted his second career ace, this time sinking a shot on the par-3, 130-yard second hole. He used a pitching wedge. Nicole Burony watched the feat.
