ISHPEMING - Mark Clements Sunday captured the medal play qualifying title for the Wawonowin Country Club's men's championship.
He fired a 4-under-par 68 for a two-day total of 144.
He'll face No. 16 seed Bob Rans in the first round of championship flight match play Saturday at WCC.
Other pairings will be as follows: No. 2 Scott Saari vs. No. 15 Kirk Giotto; No. 3 K.C. Saari vs. No. 14 Brian Frustaglio; No. 4 Dale Bayer vs. No. 13 David Renaldi; and No. 5 Sam Genord vs. No. 12 Robert Carlson.
Also, No. 6 Tom Farley vs. Ryan Meyer; No. 7 Jared Koskv s. Brandon Fernea; and No. 8 Ryan Farley vs. Dean Olson.
In the Senior Men's Division, first round match play got under way Sunday at the WCC.
