ESCANABA, Mich. - Lillian P. Williams, 105, of Escanaba, formerly of Detroit, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, August 25, 2012, at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba.
She was born on October 10, 1906, in Marquette, Mich., the daughter of the late Paul and Theresa (Altman) Pachl.
Lillian graduated from Bishop Baraga High School in Marquette. When she was in her mid 20s she moved to Detroit and opened Eaton's Beauty Salon which she owned and operated until her retirement. She loved dancing, singing, playing girls ice hockey and was proud to have flown her own Piper Cruiser airplane. Lillian lived life to its fullest, and always said, "everyday is a bonus."

She is survived by one niece, Maryjane Walmsley of Mobile, AL; two great-nieces, Mary (Joe) Derkos of Escanaba and Pauline (Mark) Mayville of Escanaba; one great-nephew, Michael Flanigan of Virginia, as well as great-great-nieces and nephews.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Henry, Paul and Steve Pachl; two sisters, Louise Erickson and Anna Dubord; one nephew, Paul Dubord; one great-nephew, P.J. Flanigan, and her very special lifelong friend, Jerry Boglarsky.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at the Bishop Noa Home Chapel with Fr. Emmett Norden officiating. Lillian will be laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Marquette, Mich.
