MARQUETTE - Stephanie Carlson-Ballone, occupational therapist for U.P. Rehab Services, recently received extensive hand rehabilitation training offered by the Hand Rehabilitation Foundation, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the American Association of Hand Surgery.
Her training extended into wound healing, Dupuytren's Disease, tendon injuries, small joint injuries, fractures, and best-practice research.
Presenters at the training were renowned therapists and physicians from across the nation who have participated in extensive training or have practiced and participated in research to determine best practice techniques for intervention. New ideas, concepts, facts and opinions are shared.
