To the Journal editor:
On April 28, 2012 our 23-year-old daughter, Rachael was diagnosed with colon cancer. The support from our family, friends and local communities has been incredible.
We would like to thank everyone involved in organizing, donating, volunteering, attending or supporting the Rachael's Hope Benefit, Wristband sales, T-shirt sales and 5K Run/Walk.
We would also like to extend a very special thank you to Nancy Schneider, Karie Belanger, Paul Collins (GLC), Danny Thompson (Knights of Columbus), Diane Faust, Lisa Cory, Derek Cardinal, Ally Tincknell, Cody Scanlon, Cassie Asikainen and our families for their continued support.
