NEWBERRY, Mich. - Darwin Jack Smith Jr., 57, of Newberry, died unexpectedly Thursday, August 9, 2012, due to heart complications at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
The family extends an invitation to join in a memorial celebration in his honor at the Newberry Elks Lodge #1705 on Saturday, August 18, 2012, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Amos Wittenmyer, of River of Life Worship Center, officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Rexton with his ashes to be interred on the Bourdo family lot.
