ISHPEMING - The Ishpeming Public Schools Board of Education will hold its regular meeting for the month today to discuss several personnel items.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Ishpeming High School library.
Following a report from the district's athletic committee to recommend coaching assignments for the coming year, the board will act to approve several resignations, recall one teacher from layoff status and hire a district nurse and several teaching aides. Two volunteer coaches are also expected to be appointed.
In addition, the board is expected to act on an agreement with the Marquette-Alger RESA for the Great Start Readiness Program and to declare a school bus as surplus property to be sold.
