To the Journal editor:
Thank you to the coward or cowards for me having to console our 5-year-old grandson when he called me crying that his dog, Lexie, that he loved, died and she couldn't go to "Doggie Heaven" until she was buried. She was poisoned. An innocent dog. What did she do to you?
Grandma and Grandpa would also like to thank you for the both of us having to bury her for our grandson with the ball he always threw for her, his baby brother's blanket, the squeaky bone from "Daddy" and the pillow from "Mom."
How could any human being (I question that) be so cruel? You knew anti-freeze (which she tested positive for, but you know that) would kill her, so apparently you are old enough to know better. However, you are cruel and have no morals. Shame on you!
You know who you are, what you are, what you did and other people do too. Wondering if you can sleep at night?
I'm sure hoping our grandson can again.
