MARQUETTE, Mich. - Sally Kaye Roo, age 47, of 1219 High Street, Marquette, entered eternal life Thursday evening, August 9, 2012, at her home, in the loving care of her family and caregivers of Lake Superior Hospice.
Born November 11, 1964, in Flint, a daughter of Gerald and Marilyn (White) Hough, Sally was raised in Sault Ste. Marie. She relocated to Marquette in 1983 where she had a career with the airline industry and most recently was employed at Northern Michigan University as an administrative assistant to the president.
Sally is survived by her husband, Jeffery E. Roo, whom she married September 19, 1987, in Sault Ste. Marie; her daughter, Olivia Marie Roo of Marquette; her mother, Marilyn Hough of Marquette; sisters, Lynn (William) Campbell and Bonnie (Curt) White both of Sault Ste. Marie, and Beth (David) Sliwinski of Saginaw; a niece, Nicole Sliwinski; nephews Chris and Craig Campbell, Russell and Daniel White, Jason Sliwinski, and Elliott Hough; and special friends Michael and Lynn Paquette. Sally was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Hough; and brother, Steven Hough.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Swanson-Lundquist Funeral Home on Monday, August 13, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. the Rev. Leon Jarvis, Marquette General Hospital chaplain, will preside and inurnment will be made in the Park Cemetery Columbarium.
