To the Journal editor:
The 22nd Annual Fishing Derby on the Michigamme River was a safe and huge success thanks again to the many volunteers, supporters and donators.
A special thank you to Dana Maze, who for numerous years, has donated a handmade fishing rod for the successful youth first place walleye winner, what a keepsake.
To everyone who generously gave to the fireworks fund, Roger Crimmins for the purpose of displaying the fireworks from his land, friends and families enjoyed a memorable weekend.
Hope to see you next year and please "Take a kid fishing!"
