To the Journal editor:
Have you ever been to Lakanenland on M-28 in Chocolay Township about 15 miles from Marquette? I was encouraged to drive in there, on my way back from Munising to Marquette, by a friend who was with me and had been there before. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend that you hop in your car, along with the kids and a camera and head to Lakanenland before school starts.
This park is free and there for all to see and enjoy. It is humerous, entertaining and his art work made from steel is just amazing. I was compelled to give a donation after viewing his artistic talent.
