Claus earns ISCEBS fellowship

MARQUETTE - Jennifer L. Claus has been awarded a one-year fellowship by the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.

Claus is the senior account manager for the Upper Peninsula Health Group of the Upper Peninsula Health Plan.

The fellowship recognizes members of the society who are committed to professional development by broadening their knowledge of employee benefits, compensation and related areas.

Fellowship status is awarded to members who successfully complete continuing-education examinations.

There are 500 designated fellows in the United States, including 20 in Michigan. Claus is the only ISCEBS fellow in the Upper Peninsula.

Claus joined the UPHP staff in 1999 and the ISCEBS in 2011. She has a bachelor's degree in health education from Northern Michigan University.
