To the Journal editor:
Who is Cathy Church, you ask? Well, don't expect to find her in a high end department store shopping, she's not a fashionista. Don't look for her at expensive fancy social events, or trotting around with the in-crowd.
Don't ask her what her golf score is, what luxury auto she's driving, or where her summer home is located. Cathy is a person who works very long hours when there is a difficult job to be done, just like you and I do.
She's a lawyer who not only listens to the client, but also takes the time to do her own research, often visiting the people in their homes, meeting their family members, understanding them not as a client, but as a human being.
Sort of old-fashioned you might say, but I prefer to say intelligent, ambitious, honest and very compassionate.
On Tuesday you'll have the opportunity to get back to basics and vote for someone who puts people, not special interests, first.
