Rovelsky earns ASHA certificate

MARQUETTE - Gayla Rovelsky, a speech therapist for UP Rehab Services, has earned for receiving a Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologists from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Requirements to achieve the voluntary certification include an academic program and supervised clinical experience, passing a national exam and completing an internship.

An Ishpeming native, Rovelsky received her bachelor's degree from Northern Michigan University and her master's degree from Michigan State University.
