Stuart ‘Stu’ Herman Hansen

CONYERS, Ga. - On July 12, 2012, Stuart (Stu) H. Hansen of Conyers, Georgia, age 57, has peacefully passed due to many health problems and is now at rest and free of pain.

Stu was born on February 18, 1955 to Lester and Edna (Laurila) Hansen in Marquette, MI. He attended Marquette Public Schools. Stu loved Lake Superior and enjoyed spending time at his parents camp where he held many fond memories until the day of his death.

After school, wanting to discover new and different areas he moved to Wisconsin and then to Georgia where he had various employments.

Stuart is survived by is sister and brother-in-law, Dawna and Michael Kurian of Marquette, Michigan, his brother and sister-in-law, Reginald and Joanne Hansen of Janesville, Wisconsin, brother Gregory Hansen and his significant other, Jennifer Lowden of Iron River, Michigan, and brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Colleen Hansen of Marquette, Michigan. He is also survived by one uncle, Donald Laurila and his wife Kay of Indio, California. Several nieces, nephews and cousins survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Stuart's body was cremated. He will be returned to Marquette, Michigan. No funeral services are scheduled, private service will be held at a later date.

Our family circle is broken, And nothing is the same, But as God calls us one by one, The circle will be whole again.
