NEGAUNEE - No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle rollover crash in Negaunee Friday morning, which occurred along U.S. 41 at the intersection of Maas Street.
Negaunee City Police Department officers said a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Michael Paulson, 55, of Valparaiso, Ind., was westbound along U.S. 41 at the intersection when a 2006 Nissan driven by Patty Johnson, 55, of Negaunee pulled out in front of him.
Police said Paulson was unable to avoid the crash and his vehicle rolled over after striking Johnson's car.
Johnson was ticketed for failure to yield the right-of-way.
Officers said that at the time of the crash, the city of Negaunee was experiencing a power outage that caused the traffic signals to not operate. Police were reminding the public that when traffic lights are out, highway traffic has the right-of-way and to be "extra careful" at those intersections.
The crash was reported at 11:45 a.m.
