MARQUETTE - Everyone is welcome to be Polish for a day at the 36th annual Polka Fest sponsored by the polish American Society of Northern Michigan taking place Sunday in the Monsignor Dunleavy Hall at St. Michael Church, corner of Presque Isla and Kaye avenues in Marquette.
The day will start with Mass at 10:30 a.m., followed by brunch and ethnic food from 11:30 a.m. to 1;30 p.m. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12, and free for younger children.
Entertainment and dancing will be from noon to 4 p.m. with music provided by Wil Kilpela & Friends, along with the NMU International Dancer.
