SANDS - Sherawn L. Contois of Sands recently received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Fla. She was also awarded the Heart of Voulsia Most Outstanding Student Award, graduating top in her class with a 3.93 grade point average.
A 2008 graudate of Gwinn High School, she is the daughter of Ken and Carol Contois and the granddaughter of Barbara Smithson and the late Gerald and Charlotte Contois, all of Sands.
