MARQUETTE - Local bridge players placed among the top players receiving masterpoints at a recent tournament in downstate Harbor Springs. Included were: James Johnson of Marquette, 4.75 master points, first place; Loren Ameen of Ishpeming, 3.39 masterpoints, sixth place; Fran Case of Munising, 1.46 masterpoints, 22nd place; and Kathleen Lakenen of Marquette, 0.42 masterpoints, 34th place.
