To the Journal editor:
I believe Mr. Atanasoff needs to look up the definition of some words such as bias, lies, sovereign and libel. It's such a shame he feels the need to mud sling an entire race based on his own greed. I've experienced this type of hatefulness and prejudice all my life and still find it hard to believe it still happens in this day and age.
I also can't recall seeing a lot of Native Americans in the paper as convicted felons recently. While not a member of Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, I am of the Oglala Sioux Tribe in South Dakota and will continue to support Indian people in their efforts to expand their businesses.
