SAWYER, MI. - Cheyenne Mariah LaVoy, age 21, of 106 Caribou Street, Gwinn, began her new journey, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at home.

Born May 3, 1991 in Marquette, Cheyenne was raised in Marquette until age five when she moved to Sawyer. She worked part time with the National Geographic Global Response at Sawyer as a customer service representative at the call center. She also did volunteer work. Lewis of Gwinn; her maternal grandmother, Margaret LaVoy of Ishpeming; her boyfriend, William O'Connor of Gwinn; special friends, Michelle Barnett of Almont and Laurie Greathouse Phillips of Bark River, who were her Godmothers; special friends, Jodi Lohfink of Gwinn, Elizabeth Garza of Austin, TX, Alyssa Kauppila of Gwinn, and Lacy LaMere of Marquette; her canine companions, Pudgy, Emma, and Gabriella Rose; feline pal, KeKe; and numerous friends who loved her and will miss her.
