ISHPEMING - First-place teams Riverside Club and Negaunee VFW each won 12-6 matches last week in the Ishpeming Twilight Horseshoe League.
Riverside moved to a perfect 6-0 with its victory over Jack's Teepee Bar in the Major League, while VFW moved into a tie for the top spot in the Classic League with its win over American Legion.
In other matches, Paradise Bar nipped Classic coleader Household Appliance, 10-8, while in the Major League, Stonehouse edged Hickey's Bar 10-8 and Norm's Black Rail and Maki's Mini-Mart tied 9-9.
